We understand enrolling your child at nursery can bring up a whole host of questions. Below are some frequently asked questions that are at the forefront of a lot of parents minds. If you can’t find the answer to your question here, please do not hesitate to phone the setting.

We recommend that parents book a show around session to view our nursery. We ask that parents fill out the registration forms and hand them back to the Manager who will then discuss settling in sessions and a start date.
Yes! All of our staff are Food and Hygiene Level 2 qualified, and we cook a nutritious and balanced menu which is rotated on a 4 monthly basis. We are a pescatarian nursery therefore we do not serve any foods containing meat or gelatine products.
We have a nursery app called Nursery in a box that we use to communicate with parents. This allows parents to view their child's care diary with live updates, planned observations and weekly snapshot photos. We are also able to send out memos of key information. There is also a message feature to communicate any messages with the staff.
Furthermore we have a nursery mobile for any quick daily queries you may have, this also goes out with us on trips.
We do termly development summaries which get published to parents, followed by a parents evening. Parents evening is a chance for you to sit down with your childs key worker and catch up about their development.
Children who have allergies/special dietary requirements will have a placemat with their picture on and their allergy/special dietary requirement in bold, so it is clear for staff to read. Children will have a care plan which is situated in all rooms so that all staff members are aware. Children will also be served their meal on a different coloured plate. Red for children with allergies, green for children who are vegetarian/vegan and yellow for any other special dietary requirements.
